Description
The GSC 700/700 Granulator Screen is an OEM-specification replacement screen for Virtus Equipment and ZERMA America GSC 700/700 granulators. The granulator screen is the component that determines the final output particle size of the regrind material — plastic material continues to circulate in the cutting chamber until it is small enough to pass through the screen perforations, ensuring consistent, uniform particle size in every granulation cycle.

The GSC 700/700 is a central granulation machine designed for high-throughput size reduction of plastic parts, production scrap, and recycling material. The screen sits beneath the cutting chamber rotor and works in combination with the rotor and stator knives to control output particle size. Selecting the correct hole size for your application is critical — smaller holes produce finer regrind suitable for direct reprocessing, while larger holes allow higher throughput for coarser applications.
Screens are high-wear components that require regular inspection. A worn, cracked, or blinded screen reduces output quality, increases fines generation, raises energy consumption, and can cause material buildup in the cutting chamber. Replace screens at the first signs of wear or damage to maintain optimal granulator performance.
