The ZRS 2000 Center Wedge Knife is a critical cutting component engineered specifically for the ZERMA America and Virtus Equipment ZRS 2000 pipe and profile shredder, a high-capacity machine in the ZRS series designed for processing large-diameter plastic pipes, profiles, and other bulky plastic materials. In a three-piece wedge knife configuration, the center knife occupies the middle rotor position between the left and right wedge knives, ensuring complete and uniform cutting coverage across the entire rotor width for consistent, high-quality shredded output.

Manufactured from premium D2 tool steel (DIN 1.2379 / AISI D2) and heat-treated to 58 to 62 HRC, each knife delivers the ideal balance of hardness and toughness required for continuous shredding of heavy-walled pipes, nested pipe bundles, plastic profiles, pallets, and other bulky plastic waste.
