GSL 180/430 Screen Cradle

Factory-specification screen cradle for the ZERMA America GSL 180/430 and Virtus Equipment GSL 180/430 slow-speed beside-the-press plastic granulators. Mounts to the lower section of the cutting chamber, with dual guide rods that glide forward smoothly to allow the screen support plate to position the screen correctly beneath the 180mm rotor across the 430mm cutting width. Features ZERMA’s Quick Snap System for tool-free screen access and an integrated safety limit switch that prevents the staggered knife rotor from spinning unless the cradle is locked securely. Compatible with 4mm, 6mm, and 8mm screen sizes for the GSL 180/430 cutting chamber.

Description

The GSL 180/430 Screen Cradle is a factory-specification sub-assembly for the ZERMA America GSL 180/430 and Virtus Equipment GSL 180/430 slow-speed beside-the-press plastic granulators. This screen holder mechanism mounts to the lower front section of the cutting chamber and interfaces directly with the lower front plate and suction collection trough. The dual guide rods allow the screen support plate to glide forward smoothly, positioning the perforated screen precisely beneath the 180mm rotor across the full 430mm cutting width. The larger 430mm chamber width of this cradle distinguishes it from the 300mm and 180mm variants used on the GSL 180/300 and 180/180 machines.
