Factory-specification screen cradle for the ZERMA America GSL 180/300 and Virtus Equipment GSL 180/300 slow-speed beside-the-press plastic granulators. This sub-assembly supports and positions the granulator screen directly beneath the 180mm diameter, 300mm wide cutting rotor, with two parallel guide rods that slide into receivers under the cutting chamber block to keep the screen correctly aligned with the rotor curvature. Features ZERMA’s Quick Snap System with quick-release flip latches and red ball handles for tool-free screen removal and cutting chamber access during maintenance and screen changes. The clamping plate activates an integrated safety limit switch when closed, preventing rotor operation unless the assembly is securely locked.
The GSL 180/300 Screen Cradle is a factory-specification sub-assembly for the ZERMA America GSL 180/300 and Virtus Equipment GSL 180/300 slow-speed beside-the-press plastic granulators. This screen holder mechanism mounts to the lower section of the cutting chamber and supports the perforated screen directly beneath the 180mm rotor and 300mm cutting width. Two long parallel guide rods slide into corresponding receivers under the cutting chamber block, holding the screen in precise alignment with the rotor curvature so that only correctly sized regrind passes through the screen holes.
