Description

The GSL 180/430 Infeed Safety Flap is a factory-specification replacement wear component for the ZERMA America GSL 180/430 and Virtus Equipment GSL 180/430 slow-speed beside-the-press plastic granulators. This thick green rubber curtain sheet mounts directly over the machine hopper or cutting chamber entry opening. Its function is twofold: it acts as a safety barrier that blocks loose plastic regrind and material fragments from being thrown back out of the cutting chamber while the staggered rotor knives are running, and it helps suppress operating noise at the hopper opening.
