Description

The ZRS 800 Left Wedge Knife is a critical cutting component engineered specifically for the ZERMA America and Virtus Equipment ZRS 800 pipe and profile shredder, the industry-standard machine for processing large-diameter plastic pipes up to 1200 mm without pre-cutting. As the left-side component of the wedge knife configuration, this knife anchors the cutting assembly on the left edge of the rotor, working together with its companion wedge knives to ensure uniform shredding across the full rotor width during heavy-duty pipe and profile processing.

Manufactured from premium D2 tool steel (DIN 1.2379 / AISI D2) and heat-treated to 58 to 62 HRC, each knife delivers the ideal balance of hardness and toughness required for continuous shredding of heavy-walled pipes, nested pipe bundles, plastic profiles, pallets, and other bulky plastic waste.
