Description
The ZSS 850 / G Series Shredder Screen is an OEM-specification replacement screen for ZSS 850 General Purpose Single-Shaft Shredder and G Series General Purpose Single-Shaft Shredder. The shredder screen controls the maximum output particle size. Material continues to circulate through the cutting chamber until it is small enough to pass through the screen perforations, ensuring consistent, controlled output for downstream processing or further size reduction.
The ZSS 850 / G Series is a general purpose single-shaft shredder equipped with a 457 mm diameter E-type rotor at 850 mm width. Driven by an oversized gearbox, it operates at low speed with high torque and features a two-speed hydraulic swing ram design. The hydraulic power pack is integrated into the machine housing to save space and simplify maintenance. This machine is suited for a wide range of in-house and general recycling applications including plastics, wood, paper, and e-waste.
Screens are high-wear components requiring regular inspection. A damaged or blinded screen reduces throughput, increases energy consumption, and causes output size inconsistency. Replace at the first signs of wear, cracking, or perforation damage.
