The ZXS 2000 / X Series 2000 Heavy Duty Shredder Screen is an OEM-specification replacement screen for ZXS 2000 Heavy Duty Single-Shaft Shredder and X Series Heavy Duty Single-Shaft Shredder (2000). The shredder screen controls the maximum output particle size. Material continues to circulate through the cutting chamber until it is small enough to pass through the screen perforations, ensuring consistent, controlled output for downstream processing or further size reduction.
The ZXS 2000 / X Series 2000 is a heavy duty single-shaft shredder equipped with a 750 mm diameter E-type rotor at 2000 mm width, driven by two oversized gearboxes. Its low operating speed of 45 rpm delivers high torque and smooth operation for the most demanding and high-throughput size reduction applications. A two-speed hydraulic swing ram feeds material reliably while eliminating the risk of blockages. The hydraulic power pack is integrated into the machine housing. This machine handles a wide variety of input materials including all types of plastics, wood, paper, cardboard, e-waste, post-consumer waste, and rubber.
Screens are high-wear components requiring regular inspection. A damaged or blinded screen reduces shredder throughput, increases energy consumption, and causes output size inconsistency. Replace at the first signs of wear, cracking, or perforation damage.
