Compact Tangential Soundproof Granulators for Plastics Recycling

Tangential Plastics Granulator Description

Virtus Equipment's C-Series Tangential Compact Soundproofed Granulators feature a compact soundproofed enclosure and sound dampening hoppers. Our granulators are available in two rotor diameters, 250 mm and 400 mm in widths from 300 mm to 1000 mm. While the smaller machines feature an open F-type rotor, the granulators rely on a heavier S-type rotor. In addition the curved back wall of the cutting chamber ensures aggressive ingestion while also avoiding blockages. Furthermore, the rigid design makes them dependable units and includes advanced standard features such as replaceable wear plates. As on all Virtus Equipment granulators, the rotor and stator knives are adjusted outside of the machine to reduce downtime for maintenance.

Tangential Grinder Applications

Virtus Equipment's C-Series Tangential Compact Soundproofed Granulators are inline granulators. Primarily designed for use in plastics blow molding applications to recycle voluminous parts such as bottles, canisters, crates, as well as plastics blow molding flush and injection sprues. The low feeding height makes them suitable for both hand and conveyor feeding. Whereas, the low noise level and small footprint make it the perfect fit for inline recycling operations.
